Who is eligible to be an ambassador?

  • Students and young researchers who are enthusiastic about learning and sharing their knowledge on campus and through social media.
  • Lecturers, professors, and mentors who are looking for learning resources to share with their students and protégées
  •  Academic speakers and presenters who are eager to discuss new developments in journal publishing and scholarly communication will be.

What exactly does an ambassador do?
Online
• Distribute our articles, videos, and webinar announcements on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms (requires free registration with The JYR).
• Republish our articles on your blog or website with a link back to The JYR's original version.
• Make a film, cartoon, or infographic out of our content and send it to us.
• Partner with us to have The JYR material automatically pushed to your institution or institute's website.
• Send us an email with information about the requirements of researchers in your area or region, as well as feedback and ideas for new content and features.
• Send us photos of your ambassador initiatives, or post them on Twitter and tag us in them.

Offline
• Distribute printouts of The JYRcontent during manuscript writing and publication sessions and workshops.
• Post the JYRflyers and infographics that we will provide you on university and department bulletin boards.
• Give presentations about The JYR to your department or institute. We'll design them for you!
• Encourage your coworkers and students to ask questions on our Q&A Forum in order to receive free coaching and publication guidance.
• Invite other researchers to join The JYR as ambassadors and guest contributors.
