Abstract

This case report demonstrates a new surgical procedure- Adhikary's technique for managing a giant pseudoaneurysm involving carotid bifurcation and internal carotid artery following failed carotid angioplasty. Adhikary's procedure includes dissection of the aneurysmal sac and triple anastomosis of the internal, external and common carotid artery with interposition e-PTFE graft in a new fashion- 2 end to end and one end to side anastomosis. The patient's postoperative period was uneventful, and the postoperative CT angiogram demonstrated a patent graft with good distal run-off.
